I posted some videos in my gameplay thread. It is indeed very fun. 2nd playthrough right now (there is a New Game+ /gasp), and it's still fun.

Use analog fighting controls if you can. Makes the game much better.

play lonely is a bit boring, rememmber a lot of dead rising and mixed with l4d.
but still i dont have guns. (lvl 5 o 6 i am).

I actually enjoyed playing by myself more. It made everything more tense. I've played with 3 friends and every time I do, it feels like a slapstick-routine. We had contests over who could dropkick the most zombies.

It was initially buggy as **** when released on the PC, so it started off on the wrong foot with me. Ive only played it for about three hours, but Im tired of the fetch quests, the characters are pretty bland and the fighting is terrible. Melee might be better with the controller, but the game hasnt appealed to me enough to warrant plugging it in. None of the emotion and suspense of the original trailer has shown itself to me thus far. I dont care enough to go on, either. Ill give it another go at some point, I guess. For now, though, it feels like a ****ty condemned minus the scary plus zombies.

True! And it's sad, because the game had potential.

Feels like a mix of DeadRising,L4D and for some reason Far Cry.

This exists for that reason, I plan to wait awhile and see if people can fix it like they fixed Oblivion. TONS of mods already.

One mod is looking to be like OOO, like Oblivion had:

Gameplay Adjustments



+Added more Zombies
+40% Faster Knockdown Recovery
+Increased the Max Throwing Distance
+Firsts give bonus exp
+Blunts have more force
+Blades have higher chance to sever limbs.
+Guns have a much higher Crit rate
+Guns have 50% more force
+Weapons have much more durablity
+Increased Starting Inventory by 4
+Stamina regenerates 25% faster
+Increased Sprint, Swim and Walk Speed
+Increased Move and Stop Acceleration
+Ammo Maximum's have been durastically increased
+Using Gun gives you a small experiance penalty
+Locked Chests now contain mostly rare loot
+Rare loot is slightly more common
+Increased Jump Height
+Added Pistols, Rifles and Shotguns to Low Level Shops
+Small Pistol Ammo is 40% Larger, Pistol/Shotgun/Rifle Ammo, Spawns in Wayne's Shop
+Decreased Zombies Grab Chances 60%
+Zombie Legs can be Broken or Cut before they are weak
+Inventory Increase from 16 to 24
+Increases the Size of Zombie Hordes, Knowledge Credit (DarkOmen)
[This substantially increases difficulty in Act 1 and 2]
+Improved Zombie's
-Reduced Grab and Attack Distance Slightly
-Limbs are weaker
-Run Slower when Alarmed
+Improved Infected
-Decreased Movement Speed
-Made substantially weaker
+Fists have been made faster and given more force
+Death Penalty is set to 25% of the original
+Decreased all stats on infected and enabled leg chops before the final blow (Think you've seen a horde?)


Skill Adjustments



+Every 3rd Level You Gain an Extra Skillpoint, After Level 6
+Replace **** Perks in the Surival Tree with Surivival Perks on all classes:
+Sam's Bone Breaking Exp and Money Loot Increase have been swapped and the loot increase doubled
+Sam's Aggro Skill has been doubled
+Added a 3 Teir Fast Health Regen for all Classes
+Added 3 Teir Stamina Regen for All Classes
Sam - Added Skill Healthy Knockdowns, Spike in HP Regen when knocked down. (Removed Deep Pockets due to Inv Increase)
- Added Skill Insinctual Slam, when your health is low force jumps up 75,150,225%
- Added Skill The Surivor, Higher Max Health, Faster Regen and More Limbs Tear using Blunts
Logan - Changed the teir 2 Boomerang to have 90% chances of recoil
- Added Skill Bullet Pass Added thrown sever chances, increased boomerang chances and adds 400m

Probably because they patched it, removing all of the dev functions that erased your save games over and over again.
