Since we're all into DBZ and love to fight DBZ style (well, otherwise you prolly wouldn't be here on the forums, let alone this thread ), I have some good news for you guys (at least I hope you like it). There are several DBZ RPG forums on the net (at least 2 I know of), one of them is Gekitou (is currently off-line :-() and the other one is Dragonball Revival, or DBR as we call it. It's Ikonboard, so that's a small minus, but here you can fight others ala DBZ. You can make your own custom fictinional character (basically everything is fictional) and attacks. There are several rules off course, but only those that preserve the DBZ feel. I hope you guys are interested in this and join this forum. As soon as Gekitou is back, I'll post the link here as well, if ppl want that off course. I've played on Gekitou when it was just on-line (and to the date thast it went off-line for server problems) and it was really great. The idea is simple: postcount equals Powerlevel. Powerlevel can be temporarily upped by use of boosts and/or transformations. You basically type a small story in your post, describing the events taking place (if you read other posts there, you get a good idea about how it's supposed to be done) and attacking if you want. The one you're attacking will continue where you left off and state whether the attck hit or not, how much damage, etc... It's hard to get right the 1st time, but with a little exercise it'll work out great. Just try it, it's too long of a story to explain here.

Yeah, those forums are fun. To read as well as to use, sometimes there will be a really large fight and those can make pretty good reads. I'd recommend them to just about everyone who likes DBZ and has a decent imagination.

Ok, since nobody seems to notice this post and the RPG forum (which, btw, I only mod, I'm not an admin there) DBR, we've come up with a way that might make ppl want to check it out. We will give the first few ppl (about 5-8), who join and post in the thread saying they were sent by me, a boost of 100 posts!!!! Yes, you heard me correctly, the first few members to join DBR now will get a boost of 100 posts!!!. That will give anyone apush in the right direction and almost immediately the ability to fire beams and make up their own attacks. We hope this will attract those who might be interested, but think it'll take too long to build PL (something that goes way faster than you would think, btw).

Also, if you want, we would love to have you spread the word about our RPG and get others to join as well. Registration is completely free, just like everything on this board. Just check it out, it won't hurt you, perhaps you'll even like it if you try it out... And comments about the rules or idea's are always useful and welcome...
