U know what would be awsome is if....

Valve and funi made a dbz game based on the source engine,
it would be awsome because everything would be manipultive.

You would be able to have expressions and moods so well which is what a dbz game needs, destructable enviorments, awsome AI
(which you need for good battles) Very good effects just awsomeness... I think its an awsome idea what do u think?

Well, tbh I dont think such an engine would be appropriate for a DBZ game. ESF did a fantastic job to make the HL engine work with an arial beam-based combat game (a rare genre indeed). I think, with the scale that ESF works at, you really dont need to see books falling off shelves, or how realistic your foosteps look :p then again, i'm one of the ppl insisting on an HL2 engine switch, so i'll stop putting your idea down now :p

Yeah, that is actually a good idea. But it is very doubtful that Valve and Atari/infogrames would agree to teaming up and creating such a thing. Despite how much it would delight us fans. At best we can probably only expect some half-witted attempts at dbz mods on hl2 (unless esf and or dmz decide to make the switch)

who are you to say close this thread? and how can it bother you that much. it dosent hurt to talk about esfbeing converted to half life 2. although it will possibly never happen, is dosent hurt to disscuss it.
