Hey people.

I got bored a few hours ago so I reinstalled Steam and logged back into my old account. I reinstalled HL and CS from My Games list, then I tryed to redownload my old Third Party Games from their sites(they didn't appear on the My Games list when I logged in, but I think that's correct). Sadly, the reinstallation did not work. For example, I tryed redownloading ESF, and the primary folder it was set to go in wasn't even there. Steam>SteamApps>HL I think it was. Anywho, the folder wasn't there. I explored through my Steam folders to maybe find a HL folder but I didn't find one.

How can I fix this?

D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\emailaddy\half-life is my half life directory.

Check to see if that directory exists first.

If not, try right clicking half life from your games list and running it, or if that fails try to see if it has any options for downloading.
Halflife might not be completely downloaded yet, hence it hasn't created the directories.

You need to run Half-Life for it to create the sub-folder for it in your Steam Apps folder. Just run Half-Life once and then try installing ESF.
