So, I've recently gotten into mapping, and I've decided to try to get better. I've made a Naruto map that I've shown on the NNK forums, it's nothing special, though. To be honest, it's a pile of ****. This is one of my first terrain maps. C&C is much appreciated :)

:O, dam can map :3

well tbh it aint that bad ^^, but i sense cliping tool, in there ;p, it aint bad but with it you get blocky terrain

trie the triangle mapping thing, works bettter for smoother landscapes + you can make the texture blend beter that way ;)

and about that map, to make it realy interesting i personaly wold change the grass to blue, the watter to green, maybe a better rock texture and turn it into a namek map :3

well i guess i gont confused, you can do the same efect with both tools and the second map looks about the same

Ingame Open the console and use theese 2 commands.

r_speeds 1
developer 1

You should now be seeing some numbers up top. The important ones are the e_poly and w_poly ones.

Can you tell me what those are?

They represent the r-speeds. And i have a feeling you have preety big r-speeds in those maps.

For the first map: highest w_poly is 404. Highest e_poly is 3302
Second: 742, 3302.

Edit: Here's a namek version of the first map.

I plan to make a better looking version of this map later today.
