Custom Sprites?

I downloaded a custom sprite, which came in .mdl format. Am i supposed to replace another .mdl file with it? I replaced one in the models catagory, and the game became glitchy. Please help. Thank you.

Sprites are normaly spr fiormat. mdl are models.

And what model did you replace?

Sprites (.spr) & Models (.mdl) go in there respective folders. .mdl fiels go in the models/player/***character name here*** dir & sprites will go in the sprites esf/sprites dir.
