It has just been brought to my attention that CryEngine 3 SDK has been released for free to the public to create anything they want with it. As we all know CryE3 is responsible for the most advanced and computer graphics card killer game, Crisis and Crisis 2. Do people think that ESF will have a future with this engine and what capabilities will it have?

Ok then if you really wanna stick to that statement so much then change the word ESF with some other DBZ inspired name but carry on the idea of the thread. Point being are there any sufficiently skilled people around to make a DBZ game on the CryEngine 3? Although I suppose that engine is way too much power for cartoonish graphics but the physix handling, destruction, lighting effects and all other features would make a good asset for a DBZ game.

Cell shading is possible in ANY engine if the coders know how to set it up correctly.

I just wanted to relay this news to the community as there might be people around who want to start a project on this engine. I would if I knew how to but I'm going into computer hardware engineering at Uni not software developing.
