creating servers

when i create a server it goes all colourfull then i can press alt and tab to minimize it and it goes normal but then i cant hear sounds.

When it goes all colourfull, leave it alone for a minute. It should boot into ESF normally. When you minimize HL, it disables sound (major bug that everyone hates :S)

I don't know why people are ignorant enough to alt-tab. Here is what I do. I am in a game, I wanna look at a website or edit some files, so I hit ESCAPE, which takes me back to the server list, then I hit the WINDOWS key which opens the START menu, I select a website from my favorites (and change the URL when necessary) OR I click RUN, hit browse, choose to view all files, find the file and run it. Then when I'm finished, I either minimize the file or website or close it and hit Resume Game.
