when i create a game and im playing how do i change maps

put the line -console in ur exe for esf then hit the ` key (its next to the 1 key and above the tab)

Hit ~ key next to the 1 on your keyboard, a little menu should pop down, type the map name.

i did but it says an unknow thing and that it is not in the server

u type the map name .. like

map esf_riverside

look in ur map directory for al the maps. they end with .bsp

Add -console to ure Target command line of ure ESF shortcut!!

On the command line of a shortcut to Half-Life (HL.exe) you add
-console to the end of the pathname. (Do this by right clicking on the icon, and selecting Properties. This should bring up a window with 3 tabs. Select the tab called Shortcut, and you will see a textbox with the pathname of your HL.exe, add -console to the end of it.) Then in a game, u press the ~ key (its called a Tilde guys, pronounced TILL-dee ) this will open the console!
