I seem to be crashing on every server I play on after about 30 minutes (approximately...)

Any clue whats going on?

Running on:
AMD Athalon 2800+
768mb DDR RAM
ATI Radeon 700x Video Card (256 DDR)

Don't know if you need any more system specs, i just need help, crashing is getting annoying :(

If you're playing on Software mode, don't.

If not, try reinstalling.

Reinstalled ESF and Halflife, still crashing.

When it crashes my CPU completely freezes, forcing me to reboot. Dunno if that info is useful either. Could really use help tho ;/

Please try not to double post.

Are all your video drivers up to date?

looks like your CPU is overheating too much, causing lock ups. Download a program called motherboard manager, and check what your CPU temperature is after about 15 minutes of you playing ESF, and say what it is here

if it is a problem of overheating, you have a few options to take; some expensive, some not so expensive

a)buy a new HeatSink and Fan
b)buy some better thermal compound, like Artic Silver
c)underclock your CPU by about 20mhz FSB
d)remove one of the side panels on your PC (the panel that doesnt have your motherboard stuck to it)
e)put a desktop fan next to the side of the case
f)make sure you have some Case fans, one sucking in air from the back, and one blowing out air from the side

My video card drivers are up to date, and I'll check out the motherboard manager program. Thanks a bunch!
