cmd Pitchup & down

anyone knows why when I try to change "cl_pitchup" and "down" to 999 or any other number it keeps on "89"? I Can't change it, in ESF of Counter-Strike 1.5 it let me, but in 1.6 doesn't.

btw: remember, never is too much esf for one night

for your cs1.6 installer , is it the one from jeffo.tk (i'm not usre if that's legal thou) that installer has to lanuages russian and english , that's where my installer is from , works fine for me , with this one i don't need to have steam installed (most probably being a verion thats........my bro got this some time ago)

first I installed "cs16full_v7" ( it languge is "???? ????? ???????" & some things in russian I think) and then I Installed "cs16patch_full_V19" anyway, then u say that it's the installer, well, that's too bad, unfortunely I don't have an original copy of HL, neither can play online, that's the worst part
