W = Up
A = Left
S = Down
D = Right
If you get a diagonal then you can use either of the two closest directions, matching that diagonal, or you can just hit both keys at once.
If you get a four way arrow, then you have to guess which direction you're supposed to hit to block it

Most first person shooting games lately created (even old ones) use the W,S,A,D keys for movement. (A nd D for strafe), so it seems i think you don't play much action / first person shooting games. And i use the arrow keys for the camera movement in Earth Special Forces.
Up arrow to zoom in
Down arrow to zoom out
Left arrow to move the camera to the left
Right arrow to move the camera to the right
But that's not the point at the moment. Since i see you don't use W,S,A,D often, i think myself you should train it a little bit against bots on your own server. To get used to the movement keys.
