Yea, you just gotta love this little dude. I was thinking of putting it in esf or mechmod when it comes out, but im not sure. The poly count is 1760, its not too bad, but it could be less. all i got to do is the legs and head, which shouldn't add much more. Im hoping under 3000 XD. Most of the polys went into the vent thing, but i like how it came out so theres no need to change it for poly count sake.



[i've gotten used to high poyl modeling to quick:p]

Here is a small update:



Still got some other stuff to do, but this has actually been quite fun ^_^.
I plan to fix the feet, and the legs, but thats the basic body right there,
I hate doing heads, so i might be a little hessitent. Can anyone fined a
back view of him?

Im not sure if thats his back though [cause he twists alot], I dont remember another vent on his back, hmmm....

I will post some updates soon, i got the feet edits done, the joins
are complete, and I added the neck. So, its already for the head ^_^.

I got some editing to do on the head. And fixed the proportions.
Since im only working with 1 ref, its a little hard :p.

Update:



Fixed the head, and the body porportions.
I might redo the arms and legs. They just dont
look great to me. Im actually pretty proud of
the head ^_^.

hehe :D [sweats]......

And thats the ref im using :p. Im also using the game
manual as a ref, cause its filled with pics of him. Most
of them are the same pose, but different sizes.

Im going to redo the hands, and redo the arms, the head and torso are staying.

I guess i will cut some polys off. Most of the polys are in
the old joints, i made them with shperes, the new ones
are made will exrtuded cylanders, which cuts TONS of polys.

some stuff is out of proportion but other then that it looks good

elbow things are too low, need to be up higher, the feet are too "tall" and the knee joints need to come down a bit. other then that its good.

Awesome work you have there. Reminds me of the robot from Iron Giant. Maybe the protege. Well hopefully you have more talent in store for us. gj

Updates:



The final skin isnt inplace, its just another skin test.
Next is the legs and then the skin, im hoping to
finish it soon but i just started school, so i cant do
much. I need some crits though, cause i think somthing
is outta place, i finally got a good back shot, and it
turns out that theres a huge bolt on his back.
