Clan tag protection on servers

Would you guys like to have a "Clan Tag Plugin" on gaming servers? So anyone uses a clan tag that is not in the name list of the plugin would get kicked out the game.

Wouldn't someone just change their name to include that tag even if their not on the clan? Even though I'm not in a clan, I would be interested to see such a plug-in.

The clan protection can be set on Name, steamID, and IP. Anyone else using a clan tag, and the name is not on the protection list, he / she will be kicked from the server.

Sounds kinda pointless.

Especialy with ESF worlds XX names.

Heck when i first saw them i thought they were a clan full of noobs.

Also some people have names that look like clan tags when in fact they arnht.

Grega, you can enter specific clan tags in the filter. Which means you have to add a clan name to it to be protected.

I don't think impersonating clan members is a big problem [or even a problem at all], but sure, why not?

I dont think you need a plug in....my old clan did it with a self made script.
