ESF's always been like that though...Even with 1.2.3 you can adjust fx quality, dust on/off (or was that 1.1?), etc.

Yea I knew that. Didnt know if it was just Cel-shading or what though.

I'm guessing that Naiteki Kensei and ESF are sharing a lot of there graphical techniques? Or are both games developed independently?

Actually while some effects look similar or even the same. They were made independently.

About bullet;
Here i go again, being all smartassy, but:
*cough* Each 'particle' of the new aura can affected by the physics engine, in such a way that it's affected by the collision box of models (or collision spheres, for better looking effects) or simply by the player's movement trough 'air'.
Seen it work in Half Life ;) , with minor, fixable bugs. So if a newbie coder can do it, why not the ESF devs?

NNK and ESF use the same shaders (as in bloom, character outlines, etc), but they're both customly programmed by different coders.
