Is it possible to do cell shading in esf??
and if it is... you could maybe do that instead of shading on texture, you make well you know, kind of cartoon style shading...
and ofcourse you would need to make the clothes be folded and stuff...
idk if there was a suggestion like this, but meh...
I think it would look more dbzish that way

ESF already has character outlines. Look pretty dbz-ish to be. ;)

Not character outlines, CELL SHADING
Here's an example of a game that has it:

cell shading is also called cartoon shading

Cell shading in that manner would require us to resking our models. Since cell shading itself is just a light shader. So the models would require flatshaded textures in order to produce that kind of cellshading.

And we want everything optional. But that would mean you would require to have 2 versions of each model. 1 that has flatshaded textures and one thats like now.

The screenshots we've seen are pretty amazing. I don't think they need cel-shading (it's spelled with one "l" :p).

Those are just 1.2.3 modl edits.

Textures replaced with flatshaded and a fatboy model added. Its not RAEAL cells hading as cell shading is a light shader.

i'm guessing those are mountains without cell shading and stuff...
and these are with it

this one looks fairly better... though vegeta's shoulderpads suck a bit... ( the shape )
Too bad, since they postponed it...
