Cell Games map glitch

This has happened several times in diffrent offline and online games.



I know what your thinking, stupid n00b u just killd your beam early.. go back to EVM!!11!!!!one

No sorry, I didnt kill my beam, theres a invisable wall there. You can even jump off it.



I looked but didnt see this glitch posted anywhere else.

And Yes I was testing stuff with a bot.

The Beam vs Ball thing also kills my game :S

Besides making a new topic heres what else I found, in general not just for this map.


As you can see me and the retard frog are charging a generic beam.


oops I died, yet the beam charge from my partner the retard frog stays in one place.


Then after I repawn the retarded frogs charge beam stays with sound effects in place for quite some time, even after I summon him again and charge another ball.

Actually, that "map" bug is on a lot of maps including the cell games maps. I am not sure if this problem is because the mapper itself or a coding problem.

And Wilhelm, you should make a separated thread for that.

Not a problem, I'll attempt to re-produce the bug and if I done it, I'll report it.

The buddy beam thing is already reported. Its the same bug that makes the buddys beam stay if he dies before his beam detonates.

As for the map. Stuff like that happens when the map is compiled. Dunno why exacly but every map that uses triangular vertex manipulation has those errors. Some maps have more of them and some have worse errors. But not a single map made like that has no such errors.
