Cant manage to install the game

ok, well i downloaded the half-life 2 files.
and i was wondring if it fits half life 2 game or only half life 1.
and if it does fit half life 2, i want to know how do i install it? because it wont
let me press the "Install" butoon.

Its for Half LIfe 1 and dosent work on HL2

half-life 2 files just host the installer but the game itself is for HL1
