can't join a server >_<

yes, i have steam, and xfire. and i can create a server and play esf by myself with bots. but for some odd reason i cant join a server, i go to xfire (or) steam and i click a server (i make sure its a map i have(sometimes i don't have the map for the server i want to join)) anyway esf starts up and it begins to load, it says connecting, reconnecting, reconnecting(2),reconnecting(3), but then it goes back to the main menu (i also have version 1.2.3) also i try to join server that are relevant to my country. also for a couple servers i tried knocking down my firewall, although for this online gaming server called byond where you can also play online, i never had the issue of being unable to join a server, so please i would great fully appreciate some help.

After you get back to the main menu. Open the console and take a screenshot. That may help us a bit in seeing what the problem is.
