Can't Find Client.dll

wen i host a lan game it says can't find

C:\Games\Half-Life/esf/cl_dlls/client.dll

but in that folder client.dll exists

this is newest version 1.2.3 full installer

You need to use Steam. With your valid Half-Life CD key, there's no cost.

We cannot help you here. You need to use Steam. We do not support non-steam use on these forums. The only thing I will tell you is that Half-Life is out of date. I will not give you any further information because I will get banned. I already have one warning.

The biggest nonsteam version is 1.1.1.0 while on STEAM we are at 1.1.1.7 (or maby more didnt check in a while)

You need STEAM. And there is no way getting round buying Half Life ^^
