Cant connect to any servers...

When ever I try to connect to a ESF or an HL server, it says " LAN clients are restricted to local servers (Class C)." Can anyone help me? Or atleast explain the problem? Thanks.

The servers you are attempting to connect to are LAN servers.

That means that the creator needs to type sv_lan 0 into his console, or nobody will be able to join.

Well, I dont think that's it because ever single server says that. I know that I can play though because I can play CS. Also, when I try to create a server it'll try but then just quit. Thanks
