ok, i did this.
1. Installed fraps.
2. My hotkey for video capture is f11
3. I started ESF.
4. Started playing. And pressed f 11 ingame
5. No result.
And no, f11 isnt bound to anything in ESF.

You need to press the same key again to stop the recording.

When you finish recording something, the video should be in the Fraps folder.

nope. Nothing at all works.
Does fraps need a gfx card?
But i dont understand, I never had a gfx card. It worked before. All that has changed is that i got 1 GB DDR RAM instead of my 128.... Darn.

According to the Fraps readme:

The system requirements for this version of Fraps are

# DirectX 9.0c
# CPU with SSE instructions (Intel Pentium 3 or Pentium 4, AMD Athlon, Duron, Sempron, or Opteron)
# Nvidia Geforce or ATI Radeon graphics card
# Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003, or Windows x64 editions
