I couldnt recommend of Berserk anime to somebody who is probably under 18 years old. Extreme violence, sex, rape... And its not good as anime, i got somekind of trauma after watching it. At least in my opinion...

I would advise watching Berserk, it was pretty good. And one anime, all must see is Full Metal Alchemist, a good mix of humor, action and drama.

Without the fillers...naruto and bleach weren't that bad...now they are just pointless sorta at the class of yugi oh and pokemon shows.


FLCL is nice and short but probably will scare new comers to anime.

Absolute best anime ever? Trigun. But here are some others.

Samurai Champloo
Yu Yu Hakusho (Uncut version is about 40X better.)
Naruto is alright.(1-137. Rest are horrible fillers. 196 however is awesome.)

If you are ever interested in mangas, I reccomend Rurouni Kenshin. The anime isn't all that great, but the manga is awesome. The Naruto manga is the same case, it's much better than the anime.
