eh ... HL is written in C++ ...

learn C++ ... it isn't such different from C ...there're only a few other commands ...

it isn't diffucult ... try it ;)

i still dont know c that very well....ill finish learing c and then ill go to c++ :)
got any good TUTS for learning C? but not just the basics?

search in the internet ... you can't imagine what you can find in it
go to any search michine ... and you'll find thousands of tutorials for every language (code and normal ;))

I'd say learn both. Nretep is right, they are similar. Once you know one, you know the other. It may be neat to learn C, tho. Super Nintendo games were coded in C =]

I agree. I just started C++ in September, and the syntax, commands, etc. are easy to get used to. When it comes time to think up a massive algorithm to do an obscure task is where the line between man and mouse comes in. The more you practice some problems, the better you get. If you plan to go through with C++, I have some good introductory - semi-advanced problems you may want to try, each building upon new topics. PM if you are interested. Or just for some info.

i learnt C, it aitn 2 hard

now i'm, on to C++. and realising this is going 2 take a looong time :p
