Run on counter strike 1? and if it can, where am i supposed to put the mod files at? also, could counter strike run any other mod?

I have retail cs and i have steam...but esf doesnt appear in my games...am i supposed to have version 1.2.3? cuz i have 1.2

if you bought CS retail, you really did screw up.
buying HALF LIFE 1 you could also have mods, but you didn't. ha ha!

Actualy you are wrong there Raistlin.

ESF works with CS 1.6 retail. But only if CS 1.6 isnt included in the same pack as Condition Zero.

So CS Anthology dosent work. Same for all packs that include CZ.

WOW!!! THAT MAKES ME SO MAD!!! ARRGG!!!!!!!!!! I just bought Anthology so i could play all the mods! >_< but also...in the help forum, it says that you could also use Day Of Defeat...but since i got that from anthology, does that mean I can't use that??

Nope, anything that comes with CZ is incompatible. Just grab a copy of HL off steam. It's cheap.

Fine. I'll just wait for my parents to get my debit card and then I'll go buy Half Life 1 off of Steam, then It will work...>_<
