Can AMX metamod work in Non-Steam Halflife?

I uncovered my old NON-Steam Halflife 1 while digging at a random impulse through my various stuff.
I already tried ESF 1.2.3 and ECX2 and they work fine, however, will the AMX MetaMod work?
And how do i use it anyways?o_o

I mean not using STEAM means that you may aswell be using a pirated copy of Half Life. So to keep Valve from breathing down our necks and stay on good terms with them we have the rule of not givint support to anything HL related if HL isnt used with STEAM.

Yup, as mentioned above. Regardless if you have a very old copy, as long you have a valid cd-key, you can use that with steam to activate your half-life product.

Install STEAM, make an account, register your HL CD_key to STEAM and wolla.
