For those that rather not watch this site above; it shows how rabbits are being severely abused until death follows, in some extremely and insane ways.

What the **** is this world coming to? Couple of months ago we had that puppy thrower, before that we had a person doing something to a cat (never saw that one myself). But this one is horrible.

Seriously, it's not like I am a vegetarian, but this is awful. I normally can stand quite a bit, but even my stomach cringed a bit. Really, the only thing that comes to mind is "What the ******* ****?!"

I believe this has something to do with childhood events, they could've been neglected by someone they loved or abused, molested.. (everyone experience things in their own way, not every experience gives the same result..)
In any way they must've experienced something terrible that would mess it up up there pretty bad (other possibility some could just be mentally retards)

I don't know why Hitler made a debut in this thread, but I'll follow through. He didn't feel inferior to Jews. I don't know where that idea came from. He merely preyed on the feelings of the laymen, and exploited it to his advantage. Had they been replaced with another group, they would have been the face of persecution instead.

As for bullies, they may leave you alone should you retaliate, not because they feel inferior, but because you're no longer a soft target to them. Risk vs. Reward and all that.

A lot of people find animal cruelty worse then human cruelty, which I am one off.. It's weird when you think about it. I guess it has to do with Animals being unable to "speak" with us.
Anyway, this behavior is nothing new. It's as old as mankind and it's not even limited to our species.
I think it was explained pretty clearly already why someone would do it, but I think they forgot another reason. "For teh lulz"

I sort of have to agree here with Proz. For some reason, animal cruelty has more of an impact to me than human cruelty. That said, I absolutely know that even humans are abused like this. There is a big difference though in these 2 cases. How often do you see young women abusing people by stepping on them, shooting a video while they are doing it, taking pictures while seemingly having fun, and placing it on the internet?

I'm not saying I value animal life above human life, I'm just saying that this cruelty has a bigger impact on me. Humans have been at each other for ages, starting wars and what not. Animals however, have never started a war with us, yet we do harm them in unbelievable ways. I can 'understand' that people wage war and commit horrible acts to each other. However there is completely no reason for doing this to animals (and before you start taking my comments out of context again; nor is doing this to humans either)

And yes, when pictures and video footage are shown, my perception of this cruelty is indeed worse. While I know that stuff like this happens to humans as well, visualizing it is pretty 'hard'. Actual footage makes it much easier to visualize, and makes it SEEM worse.
