Not too shabby. Especially for drawing on notebook paper.

It's not bad....

but the paper its on doesn't really matter....that's trivial.

It's not bad for around 15 minutes.
Obviously, it could be better, though.

Nice Tony, and yes, paper grade makes a difference. That's why Picasso's are on canvas and not napkins :p

I've been an artist for quite sometime now... the paper doesn't really bother me all that much... The drawing is really pretty good... I try to tell people this... and it might not be unknown information... but shading really does help... I sketched a picture of war (A creature that I figure war to look like) and the art teacher wanted me to abort that drawing because it looked like crap sketched... but he found out after I shaded it with some charcol that it really wasn't that bad... keep up the good work...

Its nice but ohh does shading make a difference, the shading on a piece of work can make it come to life, well not just shading but also highlighting aswell thats why i almost always draw in tonal, or line then add shading.
Its nice but could use a touch up :D

since when has a canvas been considered paper?

Personally, I fine that the type of paper doesn't affect the way I draw....my style comes out the same way, regardless of the paper type.

In other words, I could draw just as well on a piece of contruction paper as I could on a piece of sketching paper.

Paper quality affects my shading and lines . . . texture adds something to pencil art.

An the canvas thing is an analogy you ass :p No need to be nit-picky.

Did you mean disproportionate? It's kinda hard to see that, but yeah.

I haven't found that it really affects my linework all that much.
Maybe its just me, but my drawing is relativley the same, regardless of the paper type.

well it can matter... i mean the lines do tend to get in the way and make the final picture look bad

Yes, I KNOW it can..

I HAVE used other types of paper before, ya know!
I'm just saying that, overall, it doesn't affect me all that much.
