Buying swords

I'm assuming you already have some knowledge on blade handling and safety etc so i won't bother going over it.

I will however make the point of being very wary of cheap SLOs (Sword Like Objects) - sure they resemble swords but just try swinging it around, you'd end up like the guy from the infomercial who bashed the sword on the table only to have the blade fly out of the hilt and stab him in the stomach.

Ive found www.bladeforums.com to be a very good site for learning about and discussing various types of blades. I believe they're linked to the Himalaya import site who also import stuff like Khukris and Goloks which are damn cool.

If you're interested in finding out a little more, PM me and ill give you my mates MSN address - he's a seasoned blade enthusiast and collector owning something like 10 or so different blades.

if you want something done... do it your self.

go forge your own blade, it isnt very difficult, just takes some time... and alot of... time.

but hell, it passes like nothing
