Browser Problems

Sometimes when i connect now My browsers will just timeout. I'm still able to use msn & steam, I just can't view a single page on my browser. Sometimes if I reboot my pc it will then work out, but this has been bugging the crap out of me lately.

I did play around with my memory timings and speeds for a bit & ended up having to replace the bios battery a couple of times (switching between batteries rather). I did end up reconfiguring my bios and putting my settings back to what they were before. I don't know if this could by IRQ related but it's a guess, or maybe my ram took a beating.

If it were a RAM problem, then your browser would've probably crashed, not had connection problems =). Scan for spyware? Did you install anything that may 'boost' your connection (56k)?

Check for spyware, virus's and as smith said, remove anything that is supposed to 'boost' your connection.

I would say a program dll got corrupted somewhere, Zonealaram dlls are corrupted on my system .
