I got gmax, and pretty familiar with it, but i'm having a few problems. Such as I don't how big I should make the model, also, did you make that body from a blamk slate, or did you have a model to go off of, just modified it a little. What program do you use? If you don't feel like answering thats cool, but I would REALLY appreciate it. also with gmax, I am having some probelms importing files, using gmax, does this mean if I do make a model or a level, I would not be able to use them?

Well, I use 3D MAX 4 which is pretty similair to GMAX. And to import and export files in GMAX i think you have to buy some plugin for it. But if you are interested in modelling just practice alot and dont give up.

Sorry for posting in different msgs, but again, did you have a body to modify, or did you start off with a blanksheet and just put that together? Thx

I started out with one box, and then I extruded the box down 4 times, and then I extruded the box left 3 times, and Then I worked from there. Mad the boxes an editable mesh, and then started to shape the boxes into a torso-chest. then from there I did the arms...I extruded the arms out 6 times, then from there I made the legs and I did the legs seperate. I'm working on the head right now.

then u model in milkshape.....right?

Does it matter in the long run how big it is? Is it the same with the maps? Or does it have to be one size, always. And with me using gmax Is it totally useless, I cant import or export files? So I can't use them?

this model will deform pretty ****ty....
if i i am correct he has no knees there are just some things that need to be changed

Yea, expecially when it needs to be animated...it will look ugly, but Its still in its beta form, I'm going to reduce the polygon count down 100 polygons, make his legs longer, make him more buff, "ADD KNEES (THANKS Ryuujino), and then make the head. So thanks for all your input. I will defently show you the finished copy when its done.
