black background?

Since I've played on a server, that changed my settings my hit and scouter text looks so:

could somebody tell me if its normal or how to erase the background?

First thing i'd do is check your video mode. Try opengl if you can.

Doesnt look like its the video settings though, as it looks like OpenGL..

Best thing if a server changed your settings is to reinstall :/

You deleted the XXX_textscheme.txt files. Reinstall and don't delete them and you won't have that problem.
