Are there gonna be bigger powerlevels? It would make the game more realistic because in esf 1.2.3 max powerlevel is 999,999,999 But gokus powerlevel as ssj3 in buu saga was around 700,000,000,000 according to daizenshuu. :D

Any powerlevel from after frieza saga is not accurate at all as it's all fans making it up.

Wrong it wasnt 700,000,000,000 it was 950,000,000,000.

What im trying to say is. Any person who has 5 minutes of time to waste and is bored enough to do this can make a list of powerlevels that he makes up on the spot. There is no such thing as a real list. There never will be. Hell i can take your list from that site, edit it a bit and it will be just as "real" as the one they have posted.

Now pointless arguments aside. No. ESF will stay with the current PL system. Quite the opposite, transformations will no longer multiply your PL, instead you will just receive a lump sum added to your base PL.

So while in 1.2 when you were going from normal Goku to SSJ Goku at 3 million and you had 6 million PL and when you were at 10 million in normal form you got 20 million in SSJ form, in the Final you will go from 3 million to 6 million from base form to SSJ BUT you will also go from 10 million to 13 million for the same transformation.

NOTE: all numbers used were examples, the real values for the final are not yet decided.

What? that doesnt make sense i remember babidi saga, goku's power level was 3000 at SSJ1, gohan was at SSJ2 and goku and gohan were nearly evenly matched.

So you gain over 100 billion by SSJ3, sounds to like this can be ignored and left to be 6000-9000 PL.

As long as i remember Babidi used another system to measure PL.
And it's not possible him to have Power level of 3000 because that would make him weaker than he was in Saiyan saga

And really guys will it make any difference at all if we'll have accurate Power levels ingame, i mean what's the point. We all want it to be balanced and fun, i don't think adding accurate numbers will improve the gameplay.

In any case I theorize that 3000 Kili wasn't Goku's true power as a SS, because Yakon was said to be around 800 Kili and SS is base power multiplier of 50. If 3000 Kili was Goku's true SS power, then his base would've been 60. And for a 60 vs 800, Goku did pretty well. So I just believe that Goku didn't use all of the power (he has mastered the form so he can manage his power as a SS just as well as in base form) and only transformed to enlighten the environment.

While some people believe that Kili is a lot different that Battle Powers, I believe that it's only a matter of units, and 1 Kili corresponds to x Battle Power. Not that it really matters, but yeah.

I personally like seeing a large PL being associated to my character so yeah I would like some thought to be put in the PL system. I think as it increases your damage multiplier should increase as well eg. for every 1 million PL add like 0.1 damage multiplier as well as stamina and defence, it doesn't sound like much but makes a pretty big difference and PL is what defines the characters strength, resistance to attacks as well as the extent of their abilities. If anything, for balance issues have just Stamina or just Defence go up so that new people on the server still have a chance and people who have been there for a while feel like they have been achieving something all this time they have been fighting.

I do like the system that @Grega mentions I too don't agree with a PL multiplier but instead a lump sum. However... I think the lump sum should depend a lot on the base PL, and maybe even when you choose to transform for the first time. For example lets say my character is Goku and I can tranform into SSJ at 3 mil PL but if I choose to go past that and reach, say 6 mil PL before I transform for the first time I should be rewarded with a much larger lump sum of PL cos I've been restraining myself kinda like Gohan when he was unaware of his power but he kept releasing bits of it. Considering this I don't think PL should solely be the only transformation trigger because you would reach the transformation values too quick.

Maybe implement some sort of a "Straining" system where you either have to meet certain demands to transform like have >30% Stamina, >30%Health and X amount of PL, or the alternative is to make a Strain bar on the HUD where it takes figures such as how much damage dealt and compares it to the damage taken. If you deal more damage then there's no reason to transform. But if you get battered you NEED to transform. Hmmm I think I might be on to something here :D

To complex.

As for damage it takes into account the attack used and how much its charged, your PL, the opponents PL and how far away you are from the center of the explosion, and the HP damage is calculated with that. So the stronger you are, the more damage you do, but its nothing as ridiculous as a multiplier for every X amount of PL, as that would end up in everyone in the server just instakilling everyone due to the multiplier increase.

For the transformation there are 2 values we check now. PL in general and PL gained in a certain form. Meaning if you dont play as SSJ Goku, you wont be able to reach SSJ2 no matter how much PL you have in your base form.

Regarding the damage I ment forget about that and increase defense and/or stamina every X amount of PL as it would make sense to get less tired when you have lets say 30 mil PL compared to when you're in your thousands.

Wow I really really like that idea with the transformations. I swear everytime I find out something new about ESF:Final I'm getting more and more impressed and more and more excited towards playing the game! It's gonna be like a Xmas Day the way its portrayed on TV when this mod comes out haha.

What do you mean new. The "training" bar was in since about the second open beta.

The new thing I ment was the requirement to aquire PL in a certain form in order to advance to the next. I don't believe this was in the other versions of ESF right? If it was I never noticed it. I always though you just had to reach a certain PL and then press a button. What do you mean by training bar?

The Training bar as we call it is the second CF bar that we put in.

It shows you how much PL you need to gain in the current form in order to transform.

I am really happy with seeing this. One of the most exploitable things I remember is powerleveling in base form in order to have a superpowered transformation. I am guilty of doing it myself.

Having power added rather than multiplied is one of the best ideas I have seen. It will let new players in a game server stand a better chance and still let transformations stay relevant.

Maps are pretty damn big, and as far as I know, explosion sizes are limited so I don't think beam spamming will be as big of a problem.

So will you be able to earn faster transformations like in 1.2.3? Like when you first have enough to trans its slow as hell but if you train your PL up higher the trans time shortens? Also will I be able to trans instantly like when you hit 4mil base with Goku?
