I have a 2 year old computer and it has no AGP slots and I was wondering whats the Best PCI card that doesnt need any power supply like 300. I think my comp has a power supply of like 140 ...

A Voodoo 3 or 4 might be a good idea. Voodoo 5's come with external power sources.

the best PCI card available would be one of the GeForce4 MX series.

you can get one as cheap as 100 USD

I bought a geforce 4 440 mx but couldnt use it because of power supply :( had to take it back

First dont quintiple (4 times in a row) post :S :S. The other day i got a GeForce4 MX 420 64 MB SDRAM PCI. It works good.

you should buy a new computer case
for around $50 australian ($20 us) you can have a new case with a 400W powersupply then you can go and re-buy that kick ass GF4

Actually, he has a point.

You should get that GF4 MX, and a new powersupply.

Without it you won't do better than that GF2 MX

i think ati makes an all-in-wonder 128 thats pci, i used to have a really old motherboard that i used with it. Dont know about that power business though, get off your lazy butt and buy a power supply!

Hmmmmm, seeing as I don't haver the cash for all new equipmen,t mayhaps I should invest in that GF4 PCI. My voodoo 5 just isn't cutting it :p And I'm willing to bet the gf4 could put out more power than this V5 PCI.
