Best Metallica album / songs?

I love metallica but I jsut can't be half assed enough to go get every single album, especially when I might not like the songs.

Regardless, I want to know, what are the best Metallica albums, and what are their best songs on those albums / best songs in general?

Songs I know are

-The Unforgiven pt.1/2
-Ride the Lightning
-One
-Battery

probably some other ones, but I can't think of them right now.

I love pretty much all the songs they've made, hence is why I want to listen to their best stuff.

If you like Ride the Lightning and Battery you should get all of their early albums. Not one song on their old albums sucked.

I used to shun the belief of only oldschool Metallica is good, however now that my knowledge of the Everlasting Metal is much deeper, I have been endarkned (like enlightened but the opposite...kinda) by the fact that oldschool Metallica is the only true path for followers of the Black.
