the game is still extremly popular so go out and buy it now.

don't feed EA by buying 2142 though, that game is just a joke.

I installed it to try it out on my new computer. It runs amazing, but the grenade spam got very tired after a couple rounds.

erm, yes the nade spam is a *****...especially if you play Karkand inf only.

the only reason i say 2142 is a joke, is cause they made the game without fixing all the problems/bugs bf2 had.

and 2142 puts spyware on your computer naw cool.

the people i play with have those 2 servers, they're both ace.

2142 does not install spyware. I have both bf2 and 2142 and I like both but 2142 more since they did fix problems like plane base raping and nade spam. Maybe they did not fix some of the bugs but they did fix a bunch of gameplay problems and piss people off in bf2.

Anyways I play both of them from time to time, my name ingame is Tycen in bf2 and I usuall play in the rubberducky.com game server.

doesnt it have some sort of program that comes with the software, that like looks up what you look at most on the internet(doesnt record it mind you) then display it on like advertizements on billboards and such ingame?

That was just a rumor. However, advertisements will change based upon which ones (in-game advertisements) you look at and for how long.

DICE did the same thing with the transition between Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield Vietnam to Battlefield 2.

Anyway, I'm thinking about reinstalling Battlefield 2 though it's been a while. I need to find out what my username was again...

eh, it's quite different with Bf1942/Vietnam for a couple reasons

bf1942 wasn't really played that much, or nearly as popular as bf2 is...Hell the Desert combat mod/other mods were more popular than the game it's self.

and Vietnam wasn't even an improvement more than a filler. Same graphics as 1942 practically, and not a whole lot new.

i guess they took the spyware out, because a gamesite said when they opened theirs up, it had a disclaimer... i think somone posted it here even <_<

I play BF2, although I haven't in awhile. I'm up for a game on the weekend though. Most likely sundays.
