dude, i dont think im pretty smart, but, look at it this way. You Internet provder gives you an ip and your internet is coming through the mane hub. Then you hook in a router. The last three digits on your ip change. And say, what you said for example, you make a cs sever, it gives you the ip of the router port (either 1, 2, 3, 4, ect.) But if you go to www.whatsmyip.org they give you your accual IP. and every time you swithc your cabel cord to either slot 1, 2, 3, 4, ect. Thelast three digits change, and your port changes. Dont go talking like I have no idea what I'm talking about, cause i know a thing or two about a thing or two

oh yeah, and if you got to startmenu, RUN, type in "ipconfig" you can reset your ip, but you cant do this in XP cause you cant run dos in xp:cry:
