im making a new map based upon babadis lair, it going to include as much detail as possible inside it, and i need some refferrence pictures in order to make it, i've looked already and cannot find any, help...

Can't really see what it is, because it doesn't have a texture and it is a small picture. Looks like the ship, but I can't give any detailed comments until I see it properly.

no not the prefab my map i made before you it lags a little becouse i skipped on vis :p

oh, if you release a map in public, or use it to play on lan.
You should always use all the options, vis, rad, bsp, csg.

Actually, id recommend using TBNavigator to compile your maps.

Just install it, and configure it.
Make sure your map file that you want to compile is in the mod_name/maps to compile it.

its a great compiling program.

Update: Havent done much to it, except try to make the texture looks even, split up the dome\lair.
This map is so complex i may have to make it two, im not sure.
The .rmf file is already 8mb....
thats huge.

but whatever, ive been having problems trying to create a hollow path through the lair, and kept giving me errors, finally i figured it out, and now am making the layers.

the ship is messed though, that is what is causing all these errors, i have to find some way around it... hmm

im certainly not a newb at mapping

i wont forget the m, i already made a texture for it.
there here (yes i know their bmp, i usually dont leave them bmp, but their small files, and exactly what im using for textures, and yes i made them myself.)

hmm, you'll need to adjust the textures though, the terrain is good, but the way you used the texures is kinda bad, if you compare it to the terrain. and show a player model next to that ship, it looks a bit huge if you ask me.
