After seeing this thread, I thought I would mention Avatars United.
I don't know if it has been posted before, but it is a pretty nice site which is also pretty new. You can put your avatars on there from whatever game you want, complete with stats and everything. The next time someone asks you to post you MMO characters, you can conveniently link them to your page there.
