As the year comes to an end...

Well it's near the end of this year.... and I guess that means it's time to look back at all of the great things, bad things, and such.... As well as look forward to the future.



I am curious, what was the best thing this year for you guys?

Returning home from what will hopefully be my last combat deployment. It's been a shitty year.

I started pursuing my goal in life and by that I mean Drifting. Laid the first brick of a long winding metaphoric adventure road by taking a drifting course and drifting for the first time in real-life <3

I finished school and started learning how to program. Really about sums up my year.

Anyway this year has been kinda shitty in regards of my health(nothing serious but still troublesome) hope it gets better and to finally get a job the next year...

This year for myself was a great year. I can say it turned out a lot better. Began quite shitty due to death in the family but at the end of the year, there are still the things that keep me going.

In the end this year turned out a lot better than the last few years have.

Got out of the IDF after not becoming a combat soldier like I wanted to.

Those were 10 damn long months.

Got a job, lost it and got a new one, trained in tunnel firefighting specializations and a shitty end with a 90% chance of kidney stones

I've had an excellent year; I celebrated 10 years in the air national guard (and im only 27) and put on Technical Sergeant during October drill, took classes in the spring, worked in the summer, and classes again in the fall. I quit world of warcraft (again), also celebrated 4-year anniversary with my girlfriend and hopefully will move in together next year. Had a really good year man.

I made money, learned a bit of Spanish, and ate so much food. Still not fat, somehow.

Same thing but i tried to figure out how to get money for a new gaming laptop ... Still thinking And I know the next year will be really hard ... Goddam exams (9th grade (last grade in primary school before middle school))
