Such physics..no, won't be in. Would be to stressfull for the HL network code. Some of it wich can be calculated local on each client, like grass distortion from players, some of those will be in.

I remember seeing a video a while back of kami's lookout where a DEV was testing out the environment destruction physics of the map by throwing a red or blue block at the buildings..or was i watching something else? lol

Oh and by the way, how come i am coming across some videos of youtube with ESF Final footage that i cant find anywhere on the site? Is there someone leaking this?
