hey guys i am wondering if anyone is mining cryptocurrencies? if you are wondering what it is. it's pretty much money that was made by the internet. biggest one right now is bitcoin. currently at 800 USD per coin.

here are some links for each of them

Bitcoin: http://www.bitcoin.com
LiteCoin: http://www.litecoin.org
Protoshares:
PrimeCoin: http://www.primecoin.org

if you want to mine, go to any one of those links. be warned when syncing your wallet for bitcoins it will take about 2-3 hours to complete. protoshares and primecoins are the easiest to mine if you don't have the greatest of computer.

anyways have fun and happy mining :)

if you are mining, then tell me how your mining is going?

Might be a good idea to post working links, and secondly.. Please use a full URL instead, rather than a monetizing referral link.

bitcoins and cryptocurrency are complete bullshit. anything you make that you mine yourself you will make up for in your power bill. the cult of personality around this stuff is nigh-Multilevel Marketing levels of insane

@ skyrider, damn i thought that they worked, and second you are just too smart (please don't punish me) @Eon, true it's a cult of personality. but I don't think that all of it would be considered bullshit. it all depends on what type of cryptocurrency that you mine. plus weather or not you use a cpu based miner and a dedicated server.

for those who have an older computer, coinurl would be the best bet to help you on your way. http://www.coinurl.com just shorten your link and post them people should click on them. coinurl is similar to ad.fly which in IMHO coinurl is better it only shows adds based on bitcoin. plus half of them don't have a timer you have to wait. but that's my advice to you joca, use coinurl it's free to use.
