I think they wanna concentrate on game play and bugs and then add in the eye candy like extra transformations

pfffff if you took the time to read the stickies like requested then you'd know you should leave this to a mod

Anyway, supposidly they might be in 2.0 but you have to give them time to make all the new skins, all the sprites, all the new animations for all the characters etc... and it will take time. I'd much rather have the melee updated first.
