anyway, she's back with her natural mother (my sister) now, and happy as could possible be

Yep, turned three in April. And you should try living through it. One minute she fits from the crook of your elbow to the palm of your hand, and you can cradle her with one arm. Now she's too big for me to cradle at all, she dangles out both sides, lol.

as for Sarah, she really is amazing, she's stringing together sentences, she's bright, loves painting things (especially herself....).

couldn't ask for a better niece, and while i was a little sad to let her go back to her mum, i'll have my own kids one day, and at least i know i won't suck at it
