Okay, I've started getting into animating recently and have made a few poses, mostly idle and power up anims in gmax, and I want to export them to the md3 format through tempest. I do that, but when I import the file into milkshape so I can export it to the file format I need (.smd), none of the animations I played are there. And even worse, the bones I created are visible on the model as well, and they take up polygons.

So does anyone know how to export from gmax to md3 format while keeping the animations made? Thanks

I never learned how to animate in ms3d o_o
Anyway, was told that it's impossible to export md3 to milkshape and still keep the animation :(
So does anyone know of any other ways to get a model into ms3d, perhaps through a different program's file format? Because I really do need milkshape's export capability

thanks, l8er
