I know David has one, but that's reffering to DBZ, I'm talking pure realism.

And since my scanner made me hold the book their each scan I deserve my own thread -__-

Furthermore these are credited to Burne Hogarth in his book DYNAMIC ANATOMY - Revised and Expanded -

Those would be the muscles ;p Burne's theory - You can't master the drawing of a human body untill you have a full understanding of the human anatomy. So, I posted the images you evil one you :D

they are 100% accurate, they are all correct placement, just they are empashised in a way that you can understand much better, as muscles are mostly flat unless flexed, it depends, but they are completely accurate placement, they're drawn by Burne Hogarth, this is merely his style.

Glad you recognized that :) I'm a big fan of Hogarths book, though his style of face drawing isn't my thing, it's a big help for modeling. I need to post his head breakdown, big big help for modelers, he break's them down to flat planes.

Btw David, you buy his book? ($25 for those who are interested)

I had to buy mine you bastard ;p I also bought Jack Hamm's Drawing The Head and Figure. Not as useful, and maingly focus's on drawing women. Which is why I got it cuz I lack at that. It's not as useful for modeling, really only good for drawing.

Can I get this thread sticky-icy'd?

Hate to burst your buble, but if that books published then those pictures are most likely copyrighted material. Making it illegal to scan the pictures and distrubute them. Correct me if I'm wrong. Kinda like distrubuting copyrighted music. :\

( DBXMe2, I wasn't exactly sure if that's what you meant by that o/.)

then get rid of that sig its got published artwork in it (meaning sum guy got payed to draw it).... take a look in the other ref thread sum images in there sure look published to me. The difference is that ethereal scanned it. Every sig that is made using stock is distributing images illegally, i garentee that nearly all of it is copyrighted, except stock photo's that are free to use.

And yeah stealings wrong, i dont go to that school no more, im in college, and i dont think my old school even cares =O

It seems you missed my point. I'm aware that the picture i used is more than likely copyrighted. I compared it to distrubuting mp3's and such. Downloading them won't really get you in trouble but distrubuting them will. They are good refs and I'll probably end up using them myself. Maybe you understand what i said before a little better now.

I was wondering if this was illegal ;p Theirs billion pictures on the net but because this is published i was wondering....

But. Many gaming sites put up scans of gaming magazines and such (japanese gaming mags for american sites) So. Im not really sure on this one. If it is illegal i believe it falls under the juristiction of minor infrigment. (i took street law, since im not profiting from his drawings, it might fall under the juristiction of minor infrigment, however you bring up a good point of mp3s. Damn law and your complications.)

i understand you, but i still disagree there is much wrong with this, of course this should be left up to a mod to decide if anything, probably would have to check the AUP, and i presume its most likely that they wud have to be removed, which is a shame imo as there are many people that can benefit from images like this.If they get removed, i might copy some of hogarths stuff and post it instead :fight:

I always meant to get this book but it never seemed to happen. I've got his dynamic figure drawing, hand drawing and clothing books though. They're a great source of inspiration, i'd recommend them to anyone.
