An Idea (Achievement Addon for all HL Games)

Just a sidenote, you can proberly have stats on your own website using VSP Stats,

The webapplication does need access to your esf logfile.

But if you are sure no one has build this before, I could make something, if someone unbans my other account.

it's nice to see achivemnts some ideeas:

1)Untouchebal (kill 1000 playes without beeing hit , this works only with full hp if you get hit you lose it)
2)Nice try (in a map kill players with evry class )
3)What are you trying to Prove(kill 1000 hight powerlevel players)
4)Saiyan Killer (Kill each stage of a saiyan)
5)Superhero (kill each evil character in all their forms)
6)Disk disco (kill 1000 people with disks)
7)Finger of Death(kill 1000 people with special beam cannon)
8)Evasion Master (use teleprot to evade 1000 hits)
9)Block Master (block 1000 hits)
10)PowerStrulge master (deflect 1000 beams)

I like the idea of a stat system.

Its nice to have some sort of Extra menu point where you can open up in esf and see the online played prizes where can identifie good players.If they also wish that other players can see theire achivements.

I really like this idea, an achievement system would be very interesting. I'll be sure to bring it up with the team and see what they think about it. But the question is.. would this be possible with the goldsrc engine?

Should be. ESF used to had a stat system on esf world.

The new stat system could be created on the esf site.
And you can click each player and view his stats.

And for ingame an extra menu point could be created where you can see your achivments or the other players achivments in the server, but it should be that you can switch to private so that other players cant view your achivments if you dont wish.

But in the menu there it could like this

-100 People Killer ( 78/100 ) - In Progress-
-50 People Killer ( 50/50 ) - Done-

Yes, if you have some good devs, you can implement this in any engine.

I think it would be wise to discuss about security issues. Such a system would require alot of database communication.
If you want to generalize this(recording stats using a global system using a server of ESF), we will have to find a way to send stats updates without people being able to send database inserts/updates themselves.
This will require a check if it's really a server that's sending the request.

I am really curious what the other dev's have to say about this.

It's over 9000! - Have over 9000 Kills in total.
Super Saiyan - Kill 50 people while in SSJ form
Legendary SSJ - Kill 200 people while in SSJ form

I just woke up, so my creativity is kinda low atm.
