alright so i tryed to run some of my old ps1 games on ps2 but..

i cant save !! the ps1 game load fine but i cant save with the ps2 memory card in ps1 games it doesnt detect the card i also tryed to put a ps1 memory card in my ps2 but it also isnt detected by the ps1 game or the ps2 itself
so can anyone help me and explain how can i save in ps1 games on my ps2

you cannot save ps1 games on a ps2 memory card, you have to use a ps1 one, no way around that

if your ps1 card isnt working though, i guess its just broken =P

is it a official sony memory card?if its third party,it may not work.

my ps1 card isnt official but it worked in the ps1 so cant i use it for saving in ps1 games in the ps2 or i have to get a official ps1 card for that?

You cannot save PS memory on a PS2 memory card.

You can copy PS1 data over to a PS2 memory card, but that will only be used for storing purposes.

I had a Piranha (3rd party) PSX Memory Card, but it didn't work on my PS2. I have an official SONY PSX card too, which works perfectly.
