im going to try and make a sub 1k model yet again, the last time i tried this i stopped at the head cuz it had me stumped.

THIS time however i started with the head to get that out the way, and im fairly satisfied with the end result. dont mind the pewpy skin, im just sectioning off the armor atm

i was actually gonna ask you if you would give it a shot tek, but im too lazy to fire up aim and wait for you ^^. you did a pretty good job on the metal on your iron man awhile back. and it kinda had the same look i was wanting on this dude. kinda dusty and aged lookin

the head is all that will be used for this lil project, if and when i decide to go full body i may have to give you a ring.

im annoyed at my model right now, or rather my skinning ability. since so little of the model is modelled on, the skin really has to do alot of work, and i cant do much with it. >_<

i have no idea where my skinning ability is hiding, i used to at least be able to produce a somewhat realistic face texture >_>

well, i started back when i first registered here, i forget exactly how long but it has indeed been awhile.

when i used milkshape i released well over 30 models for esf, i doubt anyone has but a few of them. but when i switched over to max, though my ability improved i could never bring myself to finish a model and i quit for awhile. though i mess around in max quite a bit, you could say im still recovering from my "retirement".

yeah, nuttzy is one of the reasons why i started modeling. i dunno why, he just kept me motivated. him and shijing for that matter.

im gonna start working on the body soon, soon as i pass the mesh off to teknik he can post his skin progress here if he wants. (hell if more than one person wants to give it a shot ill just post the 3ds and skinmap directly on the forums)

im drawing up my references as i type this, expect an early shot of the body tomorrow


btw ice, i ran out of firecrackers. i have to wait til next year before i catch myself on fire again =(
