ummmm spitfire? spin? yeah the circles supposed to resemble an eye so thats what that is. the hours was more messin around with the layer styles on the circle, im still gettin used to it

oh and that font is horribly outdated and overused...

and it looks alot like the mainstream art from the last 3 years.. wich I personally hate. *death to the trendwhores*

I don't really like it either, basically because the lines etc stand out much. there is no depth in it at all. which I think you did try to create. I do understand your deeper meaning with 'Alone' and 'Fear' and 'Rejection', which is indeed nice.

it seems that whenever you put a word that has to do with sad or happy emotions in your art, it has a deeper meaning and its great...
ive seen too many WP's with those words in it, wich turns it a bit more into the mainstream art..

well that's true dudeman, a lot of people think it's kinda original, but in fact a lot of people use it. so indeed it becomes a bit of a trendy situation. which I think is inevitable for good ideas though

i think its fine if they want to put emotion into their art, but not just to make their art original.. its like.. you make a wallpaper, and to avoid unoriginality you slap a nice title on it.

art has to start with emotion, then work out whatever is needed to bring that emotion to life.. thats how i think..

4 or 5 hrs??? that could be done in less than that time o_o ..........VERY PLAIN the low opacity just messed it up big time..Also the text isn't that good.The background looks like a gradient to me.

well...its kinda plain...but thats ok in some case,but not here...the colors are rather boring, and i dont really like the font..
if u spreaded abit more 2d on it,it would look better..
and um...it looks like u just took some random shapes and stuck em on dif' places in the img,imean...it looks as if the shapes in there have nothing to do with each other..

not spitfire buddy, im nowhere near as talented as him, i hardly can compare. Yes yes its overused i know, but like i said, it more more just a practice thing for tech and layer styles, which i'm still learning so it took me a while to get things how i wanted
